My Nordstrom Plus Size Sale Shopping Strategy
As a plus size woman who loves fashion, its easy for me to get sidetracked and blinded by all the cute new fall fashion and sale prices. Especially when it comes in my size. What I’ve learned in the past couple of years is to be more intentional with my purchases during this sale.
One thing I love about the sale is that it is truly size inclusive. You can find deals on plus size clothing ranging from an XXL-5X. And believe me when I say this. There was a time when the plus size clothing deals weren’t good.
Thank God there are better plus size options. Mainly because there are better size inclusive and pure plus size brands that have been included in the sale.
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is also the perfect time to shop quality contemporary higher end plus size brands.
My first plan of action: Look in my closet and see what I’m missing or what needs to be updated in my wardrobe. I make a note of it and begin checking out deals on those pieces. It’s a good thing Nordy allows you to preview the sale and make your own wishlist of items.
Secondly, I focus on quality basics. Since the sale consists of fall items, sweaters, jeans, tees, and outerwear are common basics that are worth an upgrade.
My plan this year is to update my jeans. As a plus size woman with ample hips and booty, good quality jeans are hard to come by. And denim is always part of the Nsale.
My favorite jeans to get during the sale are Good American and NYDJ. They are considered premium denim. These jeans can run you anywhere from $99-$200 for one pair. And both brands offer up to a size 26+.
