Their 4.5-quart capacity is enough for most recipes, from marshmallows to buttercream to kneaded bread, and they can mix up to eight dozen cookies at a time. The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer is similar to the brand’s Classic Series stand mixers, but with a few upgrades. Unlike the brand’s other stand mixers, Professional Series mixers feature a bowl-lift design instead of a tilt-head design and feature larger bowl capacities, ranging from 5 quarts to 7 quarts.
