What I love about Elf Camo Liquid Bronzer and Contour
Before this, I had only used bronzer to contour my face, so the experience of using a liquid formula was very new to me. I was impressed how well several points on my face blended together to create a dewy, sculpted look without making my face look artificial. Normally, I have to rub the brush into my skin a few times to see results, but Elf’s Bronzer & Contour shows up immediately upon application.
I also love that it doesn’t make my skin oily or enlarge pores over time since my skin is normal to oily; it stays moisturized for hours without any visible oil. Even though it acts as a contour, I was still able to use my go-to blush on top of it to get the exact dimension I wanted. Plus, it’s $7. Can you really give it up?
How to Use Elf Camo Liquid Bronzer and Contour
The bronzer and contour duo comes with an easy-to-use fluted applicator. The best way I find is to apply a few dots on the areas of your face where you want more definition (cheeks, sides of nose, forehead) and then blend it out with a contour brush until you get a sculpted, natural look. Using one or two dots on each area I want to contour works well for me.
What to consider before trying Elf Camo Bronzer and Contour
If you order online, it may take some trial and error to find the color that works best for you. Usually, I have to mix my base products to find a true match, so I tried two shades before finding the one that suited my skin tone best – shade five. Also, if you’re looking for a more dramatic silhouette, be sure to use other products for maximum effect.
