Superstar rapper Cardi B is currently recovering in the hospital from an undisclosed emergency. Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar), who is recovering from a “medical emergency,” apologized to fans for having to cancel her scheduled performance at the upcoming ONE MusicFest in Atlanta, Georgia, according to a text message on Instagram. However, she told fans not to worry, and the Buddy Gang was relieved a bit after the news broke.
“I’m heartbroken to share this news, but I have been in the hospital for the past few days recovering from a medical emergency and I will not be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she shared on Instagram. “Bardi Gang – Thank you Understood, I will be back better and stronger soon. Love you.”
Organizers of ONE MusicFest released a statement on social media to let fans know Cardi had to drop out and called on them to support her recovery.
“Hey #OMFFam! Unfortunately, @iamcardib has announced that due to ongoing health issues, she will not be able to join us this year,” the post read. “Let’s all pray for her full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement and more will be available soon.”

“They love me,” Cardi B said in the now-expired video. “They said, ‘Just because you’re sick, bitch, there’s a job that has to be done.'”

The rapper reportedly took a trip to Los Angeles after appearing at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show type. While she was in the City of Angels, she hosted a chat on X Spaces where she talked about her highly anticipated second album.
“It’s going to be amazing and unique because everything I do has to be amazing and unique,” she said. “I’m sorry for the delay. It’s not going to be a crazy delay. The results are going to be amazing. I’m going to be here for nine days.
