    About Margaux
    Margaux wines truly express the style and spirit of everyone who wears them. Sarah Pierson and Alexa Buckley founded Margaux in 2015 with a mission to create beautiful shoes for everyday needs. Margaux shoes are engineered to be versatile and comfortable—in other words, designed for the woman who’s too busy to put on shoes. Designed in New York and crafted in Spain, Margaux is also available in a wide range of sizes (from EU 33 to 45) and is available in three widths (narrow, medium or wide).

    About the role
    As Margaux’s Social Media Manager, you will help bring our brand’s digital voice to life, responsible for developing and executing social media strategy, showcasing our shoes, telling our stories and cultivating a community of Margaux loyalists. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking and a passion for fashion and social media trends. This position offers a unique opportunity to join Margaux at an exciting stage of its development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for shoes, digital storytelling, and building meaningful connections with our customer community.

    Main responsibilities
    ● Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement and reinforce Margaux’s commitment to fit, quality and timeless style.
    ● Create engaging Margaux-themed photo and video content for all social channels, including styling tips, behind-the-scenes footage and customer stories.
    ● Manage all Margaux social media channels (focused on Instagram and TikTok) to grow our follower base and engagement rates.
    ● Support influencer partnerships that align with Margaux brand values, focusing on authentic storytelling and showcasing the versatility of our shoes.
    ● Plan and execute a weekly social calendar to support new shoe releases, collaborations and promotions.
    ● Manage and maintain Margaux’s blog as an independent destination.
    ● Establish and maintain an on-site news center that highlights news hits with relevant citations and amplifies content through other relevant media (blog articles, social posts, etc.).
    ● Coordinate and manage social interactions (direct messages, comments, etc.) with our Customer Experience team to ensure timely, on-brand responses to comments and messages.
    ● Analyze and report on social media performance and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
    ● Stay informed on the latest footwear trends, sustainable fashion practices and social media innovations to keep Margaux at the forefront of the industry.
    ● Provide live social coverage at Margaux events, pop-ups and associated fashion weeks.
    ● Work with product teams to share customer feedback and insights into future footwear designs and collections.

    qualifications
    ● More than 5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the fashion or accessories industry.
    ● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, fashion communications or related field.
    ● Have an in-depth understanding of social media platforms and an in-depth understanding of the performance of each platform.
    ● Experience using photo and video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro).
    ● Possess strong mobile photography and photography skills with the ability to create authentic, real-time content.
    ● Excellent copywriting skills that capture Margaux’s brand voice – sophisticated yet approachable.
    ● Have analytical thinking, be proficient in social media analysis tools, and be able to transform data into actionable insights.
    ● Have a keen eye for aesthetics and visuals, especially when it comes to displaying footwear.
    ● Passion for Margaux’s mission and in-depth knowledge of target customers.
    ● Self-motivated and proactive problem solver with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
