When celebrities like Jessica Alba, Alicia Keys, America Ferrera and Kristen Bell take to Instagram This isn’t just a fall suit trend when it comes to wearing a bright pink blazer and wide pants. This is a call to action. Specifically, getting women to the 2024 polls.
The bright fuchsia overalls seen on Megan Rapinoe and Ariana DeBose on Instagram last month were courtesy of Argent and its third #VotingSuitsYou campaign . The initiative, which first launched during the 2020 presidential election cycle, asked women of all backgrounds to heavily display pink clothing and voting plans on their feeds. Argent designed its own pink blazers, pants, tops and T-shirts for the event, but the brand said anyone can wear anything pink to attend. A portion of proceeds from Argent’s official fundraising will be donated to When We All Vote, a nonpartisan civic engagement nonprofit founded by Michelle Obama.
2024 is a critical year for women, with candidates in key races on the ballot shaping the future of issues like reproductive rights, child care and climate change. “Our politics are fraught, almost deliberately alienating,” said Argent founder and CEO Sali Christeson. “For us, we’re asking how can we [voting] Invite?

Dressing influential women (and men—Argent also sells unisex suits) in pink is Argent’s way of bringing joy to a high-stakes election year.
“We loved the idea of being really loud and bold and being ambitious and confident in all the things that I think women have always been discouraged from doing,” Christerson said. Women who wear pink have been ostracized in the past. Combining traditional menswear suits with bright, punchy pink is the brand’s way of recycling the color. “It represents all the things we think are completely appropriate for women, especially in this moment, energy and strength.”
“I can’t think of a better way to showcase our joy and collective power than to partner with brands like Argent on the #VotingSuitsYou campaign, turning our timelines pink and encouraging women to embrace their political power and wear a suit , register and vote.

For Jessica Alba, joining Argent’s #VotingSuitsYou campaign in a full-on look—a pink shirt, pink blazer, pink pants and a Vote nameplate necklace by Mad Fine Jewelry—supported an important organization while also reminding her See anyone actively participating in the election. She sees voting as a way to secure the future of her children and all children. “This silvery pink represents energy, confidence and boldness to me,” she says. “It is a vivid example of the power of passion and unity that women, and all women’s rights advocates, will bring to the vote this November.”
“Now more than ever it’s time to get involved and engage and not take a backseat,” Christerson said. “That’s the whole point of this event, how do we give people clear ways to participate?” She has a point. Why: No one wants to miss a bright pink blazer on their live stream or while waiting in line at the polls.
