You may be thinking “But wait…didn’t we just have Prime Day? It was the golden day of July, but this It’s Prime Day in October, better known as Amazon Prime Day. It’s another chance to score big on Prime Day beauty deals, fashion deals, tech deals, and of course, kitchen deals, and that’s exactly what you’re doing here. While you don’t need a coupon or promo code to get the many deals that pop up during the two-day sales event, you’ll need to be a Prime member if you want the best prices on the most popular items. But don’t worry if you’re not a member yet; there’s still time to sign up for a 30-day free trial, just make sure you log into your new account after you start shopping.
Kitchen Essentials Under $25
You may have added replacement phone chargers, skincare products like sunscreen and moisturizer, smart plugs, and light bulbs to your Amazon shopping cart, but small kitchen tools are also great items to buy on sale days. During Amazon’s October Prime Day event, you can buy our all-time favorite spatulas , a handy vegetable chopper , and an old-school can opener that’ll make you wonder why people are still trying to improve on already-perfect designs . A salad spinner may seem like a redundant kitchen tool, but we can attest that once you own one, your salad-making life will change forever.
Cookware Under $25
Normally, we wouldn’t immediately recommend anyone buy cookware under $25. For the pots and pans you’ll use every day, we think you’ll want something durable, even heated, and more. That means things like the All-Clad set (on sale now) or the Le Creuset Dutch oven. But there are exceptions. You can usually find durable cast iron pans for cheap, but they’re even cheaper now. You can also get cute little accessories, like the adorable GreenPan mini egg pans or tiny cocottes from our favorite Dutch oven, Le Creuset (these are perfect for baked eggs and mini casseroles). For those pumpkin cookies and cheesecake bars to bake as the fall cozy season kicks off in full swing, grab some fresh pans on sale, along with cooling racks.
Coffee Deals Under $25
If you really want good coffee, we’ve got bad news: You won’t get everything you need for less than $25. At the very least you’ll need a nice burr grinder and a healthy supply of fresh coffee beans. However, there are some affordable extras you can add to your setup. You can avoid fancy espresso machines and use a tried and true dripper. Even if you have a fancy espresso machine, you will improve the quality of your coffee if you make sure you weigh your beans. You can buy a starter scale for cheap today.

Let’s move from the kitchen to the bar for a moment. Before you have to start churning out Manhattans and Martinis for Thanksgiving or Christmas, Prime Day is a great time to buy some (but not all) cocktail equipment. Summer may be over, but outdoor dining season is still going strong. We always look forward to tech deals during the Prime Big Deal Days sales event; now is a great time to grab a discounted iPhone, Kindle, or Apple laptop from Amazon and other retailers. But it’s also the perfect time to save up and buy some smart gadgets that will make your time in the kitchen more enjoyable and maybe even more efficient.
