Emily Ratajkowski wore these shoes that “clash” with black

Folks, I’m happy to report that most of the color matching “rules” we used to have are gone. We’re in an age of fashion trends, not rules, and Emily Ratajkowski is a perfect example of that – so often, but last week she challenged the age-old color rules with her outfit.

For a recent night out in New York City, Ratajkovsky paired a fitted white top with slim-flared black pants and brown leather boots. In the past, wearing brown shoes with black pants would have been considered a color-clash faux pas, but now, it’s safe to say that wearing black with brown (and black with navy, when we do) is perfectly acceptable and even Very cool.
