I have always been fascinated by jewelry. From the moment I inherited the engagement ring my father proposed to my mother with when I was 11 (long story short, they never got married and the ring was left to me), I became an avid collector. Like many others, I purchase a new piece of jewelry for myself to commemorate a special milestone, whether it’s a new job or the achievement of a personal goal. I invest in others to honor someone in my family, and I always want jewelry as a meaningful gift (I’m currently looking for a vintage locket to give to my goddaughter when she is baptized). However, that doesn’t mean my jewelry box is filled with high-end jewelry – far from it! Most of what I own are antiques and the rest are really affordable. People didn’t believe me because I had developed an eye for potential designer jewelry. My favorite place to buy expensive looking jewelry is Amazon.
You’d never know something in this pile of jewelery was worth £8, right?
I’ve already written at length about my love for the Bottega Veneta teardrop earrings I found on Amazon last year, so I won’t repeat that story. However, I do want to draw your attention to a piece of jewelry I recently purchased on Amazon that I think is even better.
2024 is the year that bracelets make a comeback. As someone who hasn’t worn a watch (other than a watch) in a while, I’ve tried to invest too much in this trend. So I headed to Amazon to see what I could mark up on my next Prime delivery. It took a while – as you know, there’s a lot to sift through out there – but eventually, I stumbled upon a gold oval bracelet in a high-end gold colorway with an integrated clasp, It can keep the lines of the bracelet clean and neat. For £10 it was a no brainer and next day delivery meant it would arrive on time for my holiday in Italy 48 hours later.

stainless steel bracelet
When it arrived, I was blown away by the quality; it’s thick, sturdy, and feels very premium in my hand. It looks just as beautiful on your wrist! I have a narrow wrist and I like the way it sits on my hand, but if you have a larger wrist there’s plenty of room to ensure you can still do some movement. I bought it in July and I’ve been wearing it almost every day since then. What’s the key? Looks as good as the day I bought them!
I wore my Amazon bracelet to fashion week and people thought it was from the designer.
It didn’t stain or leave any green marks on my skin, and if I’m honest, I wore it everywhere I went on vacation – in the ocean, and also in the pool – while wearing it Thick sunscreen. And it still looks brand new. It makes me sick to think that I used to spend 15 times the money on jewelry only to have it tarnish within a few weeks. Since then I’ve worn it to weddings, conferences and London Fashion Week, and people always assume it’s a designer piece. I’m not a janitor, so you can imagine our mutual joy when I revealed it came from Amazon.
It blends perfectly with the designer accessories I own, further proving how chic it is.
So when my colleagues ask me if they should invest in something now that it’s Amazon Prime Day and there are better deals out there, this is definitely my first tip. Thankfully it’s still in stock and get it in the Prime Day sale with the price reduced to just £8! So if you want your outfit to look expensive and classy, may I suggest you treat yourself to this Amazon bracelet before buying it. Scroll through it and browse other expensive-looking jewelry on Amazon that caught my eye.

Final thoughts: This is indeed a lovely piece of jewelry. The fact that it didn’t discolor or leave green marks on my skin is a testament to its quality, and its simplicity gives it a designer feel. I know that’s a bold claim, but this is probably the best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon.
