From a distance, it looked like Taylor Swift was just wearing a Vivienne Westwood plaid dress, thigh-high boots and her signature red lipstick for the Chiefs’ game against the Saints on October 7. Upon closer inspection, Swift was actually wearing a matching outfit—she had Fawzit’s glittery freckles applied to the bridge of her nose and upper cheeks. The tiny glitter came in silver and gold, which paired with her bold red lip and plaid outfit, completing a hat trick of color coordination, and Chiefs colors.
Glittery freckles are just the beginning of Swift’s full embrace of girly beauty as she cheers on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after a nearly three-week absence. Photos also show the “Down Bad” singer sporting new Chiefs manicure for the night: a bright metallic color that’s gold in some shots, silver in others, and overall very much in keeping with the Chiefs style . (A close-up of Swift sitting in a box seat next to her father, Scott Swift, revealed that the manicure was actually gold and sparkly.) The chrome shade also went well with Swift’s face sprinkled of glitter spots aligned.

Swift is known to be sentimental about her clothing and beauty choices. (Check out her look at the Chiefs’ home opener, when she wore a denim corset for her first date with Kelce in 2023.) Her game-day beauty return was no exception. For the Oct. 7 game, she wore her hair in a high, flowing ponytail — just like Swift’s Super Bowl ponytail in February. Maybe a good luck haircut?
Swift also incorporated her classic beauty touches, like winged cat-eye liner and a bold red lip.

Glitter freckles are Taylor Swift’s biggest beauty risk yet for her Arrowhead Stadium appearance. Both her first and second games of the season resulted in an explosive blowout (the home opener) and a half-up, half-under with a red ribbon (next week’s game).
The level of detail in today’s specular looks is comparable to Swift’s journey of times Costumes and staging are beautiful. From showing off Swift’s favorite Nars lipstick to dreaming up today’s matching moment, she and makeup artist Lorrie Turk sure have their hands full.
