Since starring in Loewe’s Fall/Winter 2024 men’s campaign, Daniel Craig has been crafting killer outfits like a pro. Think of the baggy balloon dungarees and crazy sweaters he wore at the brand’s recent runway show. Then, over the weekend, the actor doubled down in New York City.
Craig is in town promoting his latest film Queer With fellow cast member Drew Starkey, Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson (who designed the costumes for the film), director Luca Guadagnino and screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes. While in New York, he regularly attended BAFTA tea parties, keeping things cool in a baggy navy work jacket paired with a white shirt. Moreover, there are similarities with the work-oriented Loewe items he wore last month, with the distressed effect adding some retro flair.
Below, Craig solidified his love of slacks with baggy khakis, paired with furry suede Loewe Campo boots—the Spanish label’s playful take on the classic Chelsea boot. To tie it all together, he wore glasses with blue lenses and an unreleased stainless steel Omega Seamaster 300.

Craig’s string of style wins center on baggy pants, and they’re so versatile. Take his khakis. Yes, they look great with suede boots, but they also look great paired with black sneakers, like the recent Comme des Garçons Nike Air Max TL 2.5 or the Birkenstock Boston. Basically, they work well with a lot of shoes: by semi-covering your shoes, rather than exposing them, it helps create a softer silhouette, which means you have more freedom with the shoes you wear.
It’s not just Craig who’s obsessed with baggy clothes. There was no shortage of great-fitting styles on the recent Spring/Summer 2025 runways. A$AP Rocky found a happy home for his oversized suit at Bottega Veneta. Or look at Justin Bieber, who has been wearing baggy pants for a while, taking statement jeans to the extreme in casual wear. And just this weekend, HeartacheKit Connor’s Studio Nicholson jeans strike a balance between oversized and classic.
If you’re wondering how to achieve a baggy ensemble, take a page from Daniel Craig and pair baggy pants with a killer jacket and quiet accessories. You’ll strike the perfect balance between not caring and being the best-dressed person in the room. Who wouldn’t want this?
