Few sex toys are as ubiquitous as Womanizers, revered by critics for their ability to bring users to orgasm without any direct touch. In the decade since Womanizer launched its namesake product in 2014, the company has released a full line of products that feature its patented Pleasure Air technology, which uses air to massage and stimulate the user’s clitoris without touching it. While Womanizer stands for suction toys that simulate the mouth, much like Kleenex stands for tissues or Botox stands for injectables, the brand is officially in the business of creating vibrations. That’s right, Womanizer just launched a vibrator called the Womanizer Vibe ($129).
Curious if the Womanizer Vibe stacks up against other products from the brand? Me too. So, in the name of investigative journalism, I decided to try the newly launched vibrator. Read my previous in-depth review to find out how well the new Womanizer vibrator performs, and how many seconds (yes, seconds) this toy took to help me reach orgasm.

What to know about the “lecher” atmosphere
In shape and size, the Womanizer Vibe is a cross between a classic palm vibrator like the Dame Pom ($99) or the Le Wand Point ($130) and the Womanizer Premium ($150). It doesn’t have the standard “computer mouse” shape associated with most placement and abrasive vibrators.
Additionally, the part of the toy that contacts the vulva is angled downward, similar to the Womanizer Next ($219) or Womanizer Premium. However, the Womanizer Vibe doesn’t come with a nozzle like the brand’s high-efficiency air stimulation toys, but instead uses a “clitoral hook.” The side portion of the toy uses a wide, flat surface to stimulate the pubic bone, while the curved cup sends pressure toward the lips, clitoral hood, and clitoral glans, says licensed clinical social worker and AASECT-certified sex therapist Shamyra Howard, Ph.D. , CST, LCSW. “The cup essentially creates a pocket for your clitoris,” she says.
Another difference between this external vibrator and other vibrators is that it is not round. Instead, “the sides of the toy are equipped with pleasure edges, allowing Vibe to deliver precise stimulation when needed,” Howard said. Depending on the angle you hold the toy at, she says, the sensation it provides varies.
Womanizer Vibe also offers a few other features worth mentioning. The shape and weight of this toy allows it to stay in place on your vulva when you’re lying on your back, even without your hands. It features 3 unique autopilot modes, which are especially useful when your hands are busy doing other things, such as stimulating your nipples, as they automatically change stimulation patterns throughout the session, explains sexologist Dr. Jessica O’Reilly. “This autopilot mode allows you to sit back and enjoy the experience so you don’t have to focus on the game,” she said.
My Good Woman Vibe Review
I first tried the Womanizer vibrator after being forced into celibacy and inevitably sharing a super quaint (read: small) hotel room with two side-by-side single beds with your best friend. As someone who often masturbates to relieve the stress of daily deadlines and notifications, I longed to orgasm. So after giving my brand new Womanizer Vibe a quick rinse with sex toy cleaner, I got to work.
Typically, I spend some time holding the toy in my hands, exploring its various settings and making sure I know how to turn it on and off. But the Womanizer Vibe’s button design is very intuitive; the plus button turns the toy on and allows you to move up through 10 different intensity settings, and the minus button turns the toy off and allows you to lower the intensity. Beyond that, my otherworldly hunger, was too impatient to bring the proper amount of romance to my new pleasure product.
Immediately, I was struck by how quiet this toy was. Even at its highest intensity, and even when it comes into contact with skin, it’s virtually silent. As someone with a small dog who is frightened by sound vibrations, this noiselessness means I can sit down without having to calm down the dog at the same time.
The vibrations themselves are also unlike anything I’ve experienced in a toy this small and quiet. In short, they’re rumble AF. As part of this product launch, Womanizer has created something called “UltraWave Technology” that allows the toy to release vibrations that penetrate the erectile tissue of the vulva to the depths associated with wand vibrators without the usual vibrations one is accustomed to. noise.
Generally speaking, the buzzing vibrations were annoying to my body and ended up numbing my hands and clitoris before I climaxed. However, the rumbling vibrations do work for me. So even though both Howard and O’Reilly say the product is meant to arouse sexual desire and bring users slowly to orgasm, I was done in 60 seconds.
How does Womanizer Vibe compare to Womanizer
The Womanizer Vibe and Womanizer suction products may be made by the same company, but comparing them is like comparing butt plugs and anal beads. Sure, these products may all be designed to stimulate the same erogenous zones, but the technology they use is very different – the Vibe is direct vibration and pressure, while the other Womanizer is indirect suction. Toys currently on the market – no It’s possible to make broad assertions about which toys are best overall.
That said, if you’re only interested in investing in one of these, “those who really like direct stimulation and external pressure should consider the Womanizer Vibe,” O’Reilly says. I also recommend the Womanizer Vibe to those who need a quiet sex toy, such as new parents or those with roommates who are always at home, since most air stimulation toys make a sucking or vacuum-like noise when they come into contact with your skin.
On the other hand, O’Reilly says those who enjoy the sensation of receiving oral sex or prefer indirect clitoral stimulation should use Womanizer Pleasure Air products. (If you want the sensation of cunnilingus, be sure to apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant to your clitoris before turning on the toy). Howard also recommends choosing an air stimulation toy if you’ve never had an orgasm before but want to. “Because of its intensity, many women say the Womanizer delivers fast, intense, body-shaking orgasms,” she says, citing the toy as their first orgasm.
Personally, I plan to rotate my new Womanizer Vibe and my trusty Womanizer Premium on a regular basis. While both helped me reach release faster than what you would call “stress relief,” they felt very different in doing so. “When you have both, you can have Ambience one day and Pleasure Air another day, and of course you can use both in the same session,” O’Reilly said.
She adds that investing in both is a good move for those who experience varying vulvovaginal sensitivity during different phases of the menstrual cycle. “Some people prefer indirect Pleasure Air early in their menstrual cycle, then move to more direct vibrations as their period approaches (and during their period),” she says. Likewise, “many women begin to enjoy more direct stimulation during perimenopause,” she says, making Vibe a better fit.
final thoughts
With its unique placement shape, rumbling vibrations, and noiseless creation, I recommend the Womanizer Vibe to anyone looking for an external vibrator. O’Reilly says that given that “vibrators are associated with higher levels of desire, sexual response, function, orgasm, and satisfaction,” I think almost everyone should own at least one vibrator — even if an air stimulator is your bread With butter.
The only downside to the vibrator is the price. At $129, it’s definitely more expensive than most external vibrators on the market. Because stress (including financial stress!) is scientifically proven to interfere with sexual pleasure, buying more sex toys than you can afford can be counterproductive.
Therefore, if you are currently on a budget, you are better off opting for another completely silent external stimulator “for your hand”. But beyond that? The maximum number of orders is O.
