I always say shopping on Amazon is a blessing and a curse. This is a blessing because you have so many options and almost anything can be delivered to your door within days or even hours. This is a curse because you have so many options, it can be difficult to sort through them all, check reviews, and decide whether they’re worth your time and money.
Luckily, as a beauty editor who tests countless skin care, hair care, and makeup products on the site, I can tell you which ones are good, great, and truly outstanding. Such is the case with three underrated Amazon beauty products that I tell everyone in my life should buy. From an insanely effective eyelash serum to a foolproof heatless curling iron set and a TikTok viral collagen mask, keep scrolling to see three of my favorite Amazon beauty products.
#1: Super Effective French Lash Serum

First, I have to talk about my all-time favorite eyelash serum. It’s from French brand Talika, and while I’ve already waxed poetic about it (read my full review), it’s worth making again. Since 1948, researchers have been optimizing formulas that encapsulate botanical extracts such as witch hazel, apple, nettle, horse chestnut and St. John’s wort in liposomes to increase their permeability.
In addition to botanical extracts, you’ll also find peptides that strengthen the roots of your lashes and slow down shedding. Silk protein “wraps” eyelashes and encourages them to curl. There’s also Coleus forskohlii, a tropical plant extract that the brand says promotes the natural pigmentation of eyelashes by increasing melanin production.
The brand recommends using it morning and night for 28 days and repeating every three months for best results. Whenever I use it, I see a noticeable improvement in the length, density, and darkness of my lashes in just a few weeks. I usually order on Amazon, but when I visited Paris in the spring I was able to pick up a few tubes from a French pharmacy.
After only four weeks of using Talika Lipocils Professional Lash Serum (with mascara), my lashes look better.

#2: Foolproof Heatless Curling Iron Set

I’ve tried many heatless curling iron sets in my life and I’ve never been completely satisfied with the results. My curls either look frizzy and asymmetrical, or they fall out in the middle of the night and I wake up with flat hair. Until I tried this affordable product on Amazon.
My biggest issue with other heatless curling iron sets is that the actual curling irons are often thick, inflexible, and made of silky fabric. While I’ve had some success with these types, they usually fall out of my hair by morning. (I have fine hair and it tosses and turns a lot at night.) This one, on the other hand, has a flexible velvet fabric that keeps my hair from slipping out. It also has long, fabric-covered ends that you can tie above your head to prevent it from moving throughout the night. By morning, I had the most beautiful, even heat-free curls.
The kit comes with a curling headband, a large claw clip to hold your hair on top of your head as you wrap it around the headband, and two hair ties to tie the ends of your hair to the headband once you’ve wrapped your hair around it.
