Donald Trump’s vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance made his debut at the US vice presidential debate last night. This is different than what I expected. When it comes to abortion, Vance has taken a position that sounds closer to the Democratic Party. “There’s a lot we can do in public policy to give women more choices,” he said. Vance was asked about abortion surveillance and federal surveillance of pregnancies and abortions that Project 2025 advocates — in part to enforce conservative policies. He quickly denied that he or Trump would support such a policy, saying instead: “I want us, as Republicans, to be truly pro-family.” Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Wall and I Zi was equally shocked. “I agree with a lot of what Senator Vance said about what’s going on,” Walz admitted sincerely. “But his running mate doesn’t think so. That’s the problem. Despite the rapport between the two candidates, make no mistake: J.D. Vance is just as dangerous as Donald Trump, if not more so.
