Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner confused by Violet’s selfie

Violet Affleck, the daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, made a surprise appearance on Linda Lopez’s (Jennifer Lopez’s sister) Instagram feed yesterday. While much of the world was left scratching their heads at this unexpected team-up, so were Violet’s parents. A source close to the exes explained that Ben and Garner are “confused” by Violet’s “attachment” to the Lopez family.

“Violet has a strong attachment to J.Lo and her family,” a source shared daily mail. “This confused Ben and Jen. [Garner] Because they don’t understand why Violet is so insistent on staying close to her.

The source added, “[Violet] They respect J.Lo and Lynda and are determined to maintain that connection.

Of course, fans will remember that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ended their marriage earlier this year after a brief marriage. Fans will also remember that after the split, Lopez was spotted with Affleck and Affleck-Garner’s children at places like the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.

The source added that Ben had no idea Violet was planning to hang out with his ex-sister-in-law.
