With the 2024 presidential election just nine days away, Michelle Obama is ready for the fight — at least judging by her latest campaign look. The former first lady attended a rally in support of Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris in the swing state of Michigan on Saturday, while her attire seemed to send a subliminal message to the other party.
Obama looked fierce in a black and brown leopard print pantsuit from Theory, which he wore with a peak-shouldered single-breasted blazer and matching slim-fitting trousers. She wore a black top underneath and paired it with a pair of black round-toe heels. Obama continued to embrace this symbolism with blue, the color of the Democratic Party, including accessorizing her gold hoop earrings with a set of blue stones and a bold blue manicure.
She wore her hair braided into a low ponytail and completed her glam with a nude glossy lip and shimmery eyeshadow.
At the event, Obama delivered a rousing speech that covered everything from reproductive rights to Donald Trump’s “mental decline” before introducing Harris to the stage. “I hope you can forgive me if I’m a little frustrated that some of us have chosen to ignore Donald Trump’s gross incompetence and demand that Kamala dazzles us at every turn,” she began her message .
“If I were to express my concern because of our concerns about his erratic behavior, his apparent mental decline, his status as a convicted felon, a known slum lord, a predator convicted of sexual abuse I’m a little offended by history’s indifference, and I hope you’ll forgive me – for all this, Obama continued, adding that she was concerned that “too many people” were giving Trump a “pass” for his bad behavior.
She warned, “This is exactly how he got elected the first time.”
