Cue the paparazzi! Angelina Jolie brought some big movie star energy to Hollywood last night. Celebrities appeared at TCL Chinese Theater for the premiere Mariaher new film stars Pablo Larrain as opera legend Maria Callas. During her press tour for the project, Jolie kept rocking one chic look after another. Whether she’s wearing a vintage gown or a sleek three-piece suit, the fashion is understated and elegant. But last night, Jolie was spotted rocking an iconic red carpet look, as no one knows how to rock a slinky silk dress better than the A-lister.
At the premiere, Jolie wore a champagne-colored silk floor-length dress, paired with a draped black coat and elegant silver jewelry. The dress ticked all the boxes of formality in a subdued way, perhaps because Jolie has been wearing this silk design for so long. Her Marc Bouwer dress at the 2004 Oscars and Atelier Versace gown at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Awards prove that sometimes, the best looks are the ones that are subtle and timeless.
