Halle Berry wears see-through top with controversial jeans

Jeans on the red carpet are a fashion risk in themselves, but wearing a pair of controversial jeans to a star-studded event? This is a serious statement.

Halle Berry attended the Cirque du Soleil premiere of KOOZA in Los Angeles on Thursday. For the occasion, she dressed casually, opting for a sheer shirt and an unexpected pair of blue jeans. She wore a sheer black tie shirt with a ruffled collar and flowing sleeves, while showing off a matching black bra underneath. She paired the shirt with super low-rise jeans that almost fell off her hips. Aside from the fact that her jeans looked two sizes too big, Berry added to the divisiveness with dirty washes, distressing, and ankle-grazing cuts.

The Oscar winner paired her look with a pair of black pointed-toe heels and styled her brunette bob into messy waves with a wispy fringe on her forehead. She finished her look with pink glossy lips and coral blush on each cheek.

Berry’s latest outing comes just days after attending the 2024 HLTH Conference, where she discussed her menopausal journey and women’s health while promoting her wellness brand, Respin.

“Boy, what’s more worthy of rethinking than menopause? Shouldn’t we be rethinking everything we think we know about menopause? Because in reality we know next to nothing,” Berry said at the event. Women’s Wear Daily.

She continued, “I realized the culture needed to shift because when I was looking up a middle-aged woman, I saw an image, a Google image, and it just shocked me. The middle-aged woman in the picture was in her forties. Years old, almost hunched over, unable to stand upright until we walked with a cane and menopause required rebranding.
