Calchery: Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole remain the Big Three until further notice. I know some people think Cole lost his spot once he quit the fight, but I think he’s earned the benefit of the doubt. let’s see what it is fall off Sounds like it. You can make the case for Future, but I don’t know if he cares about the throne. You can defend Travis. You can defend Nikki. But I still think Drake, Kendrick and Cole are the big three.
DJ Hurd: Hough, Dot, Drake.
Killer Mike: Scarface, put the two names you want at the back. I don’t care. He’s the greatest of all time.
Sharmila Ibrahim: I’ve always thought that the “Big Three” was a reductive and frankly stupid way to look at rap music in the current market as the market reverts to an increasingly segmented and niche state. But for those who agree with this sort of thing, there’s no reason why women shouldn’t be there, given their performance over the past few years.
Angel Diaz: Kendrick Lamar, Future and Bold James.
Paul Thompson: Kendrick and Future are on the same level as far as major stars who actually give good performances.
Ebro Darden: Based on 2024 to present: Kendrick, Drake, Future.
Damien Scott, Deputy Editorial Director, Billboard: I think the big three remain the same despite everything that’s happened in the past year, but if I were forced to design a new one, I would say: Future, Kendrick, Travis Scott.
Jinx: Kendrick, Taylor, Drake. I’m torn between Future and Tyler right now because Future dropped twice and Tyler hasn’t.
Alphonse Pierre: The whole idea of a Big Three is pretty outdated — which is why the whole Drake and Kendrick feud was stupid to begin with. It’s a conversation that relies heavily on numbers and correlations, and I do think about those things, but they don’t make a lot of sense to me. I’m not saying rapping shouldn’t be competitive, but there’s got to be a cooler way to think about these things, right? As I write this, gambling companies are probably trying to find a way to monetize these fleets. But if I had to play this game: Carti, GloRilla, Kendrick.
