IED European Design Institute and Holston Foundation with Love This is the first cooperation between the two parties Love Holston Fashion Scholarship Challenge; As part of 080 Barcelona Fashion, a special awards event took place on October 15th. The winner is Virginia Cerruti from IED Barcelonahe presented a look inspired by classic Greek mythology, designed to meet Halston’s standards of aesthetics, sustainability and marketability.
A jury of renowned professionals from the fashion industry and the With Love Halston Foundation selected the winning design from designs submitted by nine finalists representing five delegates. IED campuses (Barcelona, Bilbao, Cagliari, Milan and Aldogali Institute in Como). The experts selected the winning design, emphasizing its flowing simplicity and timelessness.

The With Love Halston Foundation launched the first With Love Halston Fashion Scholarship Challenge in April 2022 with the aim of nurturing and supporting the next generation of creative talent. Strengthening Holston’s legacywhose creation is attributed to Halston’s designs, revolutionized American fashion in the 1970s.

At various stages of the competition, contestants worked with IED mentors and members of the With Love Halston Foundation to help them develop their proposals, which were unveiled today in the modernist setting of the San Paolo Hospital in Barcelona.

Sebastian Ruelas (@r.3d_studio) Contains all shortlisted designs. IED Fashion Design alumni and Clo3D faculty have created a virtual space showcasing digital representations of the nine finalists for the With Love Halston Fashion Scholarship.
The designs are immersed in a special digital runway that pays homage to Holston’s legacy. The designs feature Holston’s signature visuals, such as New York City, the red carpet or his favorite flower: the orchid
