H&M announces relaunch of designer collaborations
H&M will re-release selected “old” pieces from its collaborative designer collections to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its first guest designer collection with Karl Lagerfeld in 2004. Clothes designed by H&M, Maison Margiela and other products are purchased with the assistance of the second-hand market Sellpy. Customers can purchase the re-released products in select stores during the launch period from October 24 to 30, and online from October 31.
Gucci 2026 early spring series will be held in Florence
The Gucci 2026 Cruise Collection will be shown on May 15 in Florence, the brand’s founding city. Home of the concept space formerly known as Gucci Garden. The exact location and time of the performance have not yet been announced. {WWD/paywall}
Veronica Beard works with the NFL
Veronica Beard has partnered with the NFL to launch a line of jackets representing the league’s 32 teams. CFDA and Fraser Family Foundation launch new awards
On Sunday, the Fraser Family Foundation and the CFDA announced a new award, the Empowering Vision Award, which will provide an independent black designer with $100,000 in direct funding and an additional $100,000 to Support them with one-year mentorship. “The CFDA is proud to continue our long-standing social impact work through our partnership with the Fraser Family Foundation,” CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said in a statement. “Together, we have created an award that will recognize creative excellence and innovation.” to make a positive impact on American designers by providing them with the capital and tools necessary to achieve long-term success as Black-owned businesses in the global economy.” {FDA}
