Tonight, just days after performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, Cher will return to the spotlight and be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside Foreigner, Mary J. Blige and Dave Matthews Band . Of course, Zendaya will be in attendance to pay her respects.
The actress last styled Cher at the 2021 Oscars, wearing a gold, off-the-shoulder vintage Bob Mackie dress from Cher’s go-to fall designer, with the help of her longtime stylist Law Roach. Awards ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio. This dress has a criss-cross design on the bodice and a transparent low-waisted high-slit skirt. It was the finale look on the catwalk at New York Fashion Week in February 2001. It was paired with white silk satin. Zendaya also wore a trench coat tonight. According to Law Roach’s Instagram Stories, the coat is embroidered with gold and diamond iridescent bugle beads and gemstones. He went on to say that the dress was entirely hand-beaded with gold, diamonds, iridescent bugle beads and aurora borealis stones.

The dress is reminiscent of the one Cher wore while performing “I’m a Woman” with American actress Raquel Welch in February 1975 clothing. Cher show. This golden gown from Cher’s personal collection, also designed by Bob Mackie, sold for $5,100 at Julien’s Auctions in California.
