Sofia Richie Grainge returns to the red carpet.
The model made her postpartum red carpet debut while attending the 4th Annual Academy Museum Gala on Saturday, October 19, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California.

“I was doing great until I was 32 weeks pregnant,” she explained in a recent interview with Dr. Thais Aliabadi and women’s health advocate Mary Alice Haney on the “She MD” podcast. She went on to say that she “one morning “Wake up” and texted Ali Abadi to say she was “really tired today.”
“My back is really hurting. I feel a little cramped.” I really thought it was going to be another, ‘Yeah baby, that’s pregnancy, you’re going to be fine, but if you want me to check You’ type of situation, you can come in,” she continued.
“But instead, she said, ‘You know what? Actually, I think you should go see a fetal specialist to be monitored and make sure everything is OK and then you can go home. It’s not a big deal,'” she added. “Thank God she said that.”
At the hospital, Richie Grange learned she was in labor. After giving birth at 38 weeks pregnant, Richie Grainge developed severe swelling and was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia.
“I think, literally, the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do was leave my daughter two days postpartum,” continued. “My poor husband said, ‘I have to take you to the hospital because Dr. A says it’s not safe. You’re not safe at home.’ “So I spent 24 hours in the hospital and was really, really uncomfortable.
