I don’t claim to be a psychic, but in my nearly 14 years of writing about fashion, I’ve become an expert at spotting a product before it’s gone forever. My skills are perhaps the most honed when it comes to Zara; I’ve personally shopped with the brand my entire career.

By analyzing inventory levels on the shop floor and the placement of certain items in new arrivals on the website, I can pinpoint which items Zara believes will be popular quickly. However, that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily the first clothes and accessories to sell out. How I choose items that I think will sell depends on what else is going on in the market and what clothing I’m seeing on social media right now. It’s the combination of all these variables that makes my predictions extremely accurate. Now that Zara’s winter collection is finally here, I decided to comb through the new arrivals and find what I think are the most coveted pieces of the season. There are 11 of them.
