I have fine, thick hair with a slight wavy pattern and am able to achieve a variety of looks with FlexFusion. The first time I used it on freshly washed hair, I twisted the FlexFusion into an angled blow dryer shape and gave it a rough blow dry to remove excess water. Then, I straighten the tool, turn on the blending brush, and brush from the underside of the hair to dry while adding volume. The result is a smooth, natural, voluminous blowout (but not as voluminous as a “Texas Big Hair”). . I have a lot of hair and can still treat my entire head in 10 minutes. Even on the highest heat and air settings, it feels gentle on my head. (There’s also a Scalp Guard mode that automatically adjusts the temperature to protect your scalp from heat damage.) From there, I added a bit of texturizing spray to keep things light, and boom: I looked like I left salon.
