There are perfect celebrity style moments, but there are also looks that will really blow you away, ones you’ll desperately try to recreate at home. exist ‘Great Costumes in Fashion History,” Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.
I didn’t celebrate Halloween growing up, so I didn’t care much about Halloween weekend and didn’t put a lot of thought behind my costumes. (In fact, I find myself falling into the “last-minute costume ideas” crowd every year.) But even I enjoy seeing celebrities go all out during this spooky season. When a star decides to dress up as other celebrity.
That’s exactly what Zendaya did while attending Keep A Child Alive’s 20th Annual Dream Halloween event in 2013. She followed Aaliyah’s lead and donned iconic outfits from the late singer Tommy Hilfiger’s advertising campaigns: a logo-emblazoned bandeau, peek-a-boo briefs (very trendy right now!), baggy low-rise jeans and a red trench coat. She paired it with white sneakers, hoop earrings and dainty finger bracelets.
The “Contenders” star also copied Aaliyah’s signature bangs and paired it with smoky eyeshadow and red lips for a ’90s beauty look.
If you’re looking for a better Halloween costume than a last-minute witch, shop our picks of the costumes below to bring this ’90s Tommy Hilfiger moment to life.
