This made the designer realize that if she continued to make beautiful, well-made dresses, her customers would continue to wear them for years to come.
This season, she focused on bright, ice-cream-like colors like yellow, pink and chartreuse, creating a 12-piece collection of summer looks suitable for anywhere from the Hamptons to Palm Beach. Highlights include a cap-sleeve metallic pink gown that can be worn easily from day to night and just throw in a suitcase and go. Tfank also experimented with raffia, but instead of the usual matte and straw-like look and feel, it was dipped in gold by fabric artisans in Italy for a shiny touch.
