Scarlett Johansson goes out wearing loafers and socks

When the weather is too cold for sandals and too hot for boots, there aren’t many shoe options for the weather in between. Yes, of course there are ballet flats and sneakers. But loafers are an often overlooked option. They’re comfortable, cool, and look even better when paired with socks.

Apparently no one knows this better than Scarlett Johansson, who stepped out in New York over the weekend wearing a classic fall footwear combo. Supporting her husband Colin Jost saturday night live At the after-party in Midtown Manhattan, the actress wore an orange and pink floral slip dress paired with an oversized beige blazer. She paired it with a beige cross-body bag by Celine, gold jewelry and aviator glasses, finishing with a pair of oxblood loafers and clear socks.
