It’s been a big few years for the tried-and-true running shoe retro, the Zoom Vomero 5. But with the upcoming release of the Nike Zoom Vomero Roam “Black Rose,” it’s set to get even bigger. Because this sneaker is designed to satisfy every kind of sneakerhead.
As you may have guessed, Zoom Vomero Roam is based on the popular Zoom Vomero 5. Yes, that’s the same thing. But while its predecessor was trimmed in mesh and leather, the Roam has a ripstop nylon base.
The front and back of the base are covered in suede panels, while the sides are supported by a new rubber cage. There’s a novel toggle switch lacing system, and the trail shoe’s influence runs along the lower half of the training shoe, which is wrapped in waterproof material for what you may or may not do in either shoe. All hiking-pink tones.
