Gap keeps collaborating: This year alone, it’s partnered with Dôen, Madhappy and Palace. Now, Los Angeles label Cult Gaia has joined the list.
Their collaborative collection, launching on October 10, combines Gap’s essentials expertise with Cult Gaia’s sleek, modern aesthetic. The 35-piece collection features holiday-ready silhouettes, including knitted cardigans, faux fur coats, cutout maxi dresses, wool trench coats and chain-link detail slip dresses. Prices range from $35 to $498.
“Reimagining Gap’s iconic icon through the lens of Cult Gaia has been an amazing journey,” Cult Gaia founder and designer Jasmin Larian Hekmat said in a statement. “This collaboration brings Gap’s classic and everyday wear to Cult Gaia. The sculptural and artistic approach combines our two unique creative talents. Each piece in the collection is carefully designed to inspire creativity, blending art and functionality in a unique and timeless way. .

Mark Breitbard, Gap brand president and CEO, added: “Each piece is carefully crafted with attention to craftsmanship, hardware and stitching. We offer premium designs and innovative tailoring that our customers will cherish forever.”
The collection is accompanied by a campaign shot by sisters Louise and Maria Thornfeldt, with Tina Kunakey and Kristina Byerley, Kelly Lim, Starring Irene Law and Christen Rule.
The partnership comes as Gap embarks on an impressive comeback after years of lackluster products, negative media coverage and business woes. In July 2023, Gap Inc. appointed new CEO Richard Dickson (a former Mattel employee), followed by a new executive vice president and creative director Zac Posen. In an effort to reinvent themselves, brands continue to focus on buzzy ad campaigns (Tyla, Troye Sivan, Dapper Dan), fun collaborations and unique celebrity appearances (Da’Vine Joy Randolph at the 2024 Met Gala, Anne Hathaway’s Buy a white shirt dress).
Gap x Cult Gaia will be available online and in select Gap stores starting Thursday, October 10th at 12:00pm ET.
