spoilers love is blind Season 7 There are episodes 1-6 ahead. Audiences over the years love is blind We’ve been clamoring for the reality TV giant Netflix to recruit older participants, and it looks like we’ve gotten our wish. most engaged couples love is blind The cast of Season 7 is all in their 30s (possibly not unlike the recent love is blind: uk). Of course, the most high-profile couple so far this season is the youngest man and youngest woman in the pod: Hannah Jiles, 27, and Nick Dorka, 29 .
Nick, an eloquent former football player, quickly falls in love with Hannah, a self-proclaimed country girl who worked in medical device sales before quitting her job to move on. Lithium-ion battery. However, the pod’s biggest love triangle and lingering doubts hit a snag early on. As the Oct. 23 finale of Season 7 approaches, fans are wondering whether Hannah and Nick will say “I do” at the altar (or even attend the wedding). Below, we compare Hannah and Nick from love is blind Season 7 relationship timeline, and whether they’ll still be together after the show ends.
What happened between Hannah and Nick in Love Is Blind Season 7?
Nick’s introduction in Season 7 can be summed up in two pieces: Glib. (Or, if you prefer the nickname Hannah later gave him, Mr. Suavé.) He was undeniably flirtatious, and was known for the fact that he was a kicker and a gambler in college. Hannah, meanwhile, was able to play along with the joke, saying she was a small-town West Virginia girl who was a cheerleader and dated the quarterback in high school. According to clips from the show, Nick quickly became smitten with Hannah, but Hannah formed a bond with both him and art dealer Leo.
Even outside of Leo, Hannah had her reservations about Nick. She points out that Nick always says the right thing, an orange flag that quickly turned red in previous games. love is blind season. She said at one point, “Yes, he’s hot, but he could ruin my life,” and other women felt the same way. After Nick and Hannah go on another superficial date (they discuss their celebrity crushes, and Nick says he looks like a less muscular Henry Cavill), Hannah’s doubts begin to emerge. She worried that his hair might be hiding a controlling side and expressed concern that he was a “natural flirt.” She said she didn’t want to sleep around him without makeup, which one woman she spoke to called a “walking red flag.”
On their next date, Hannah expressed her concerns and asked Nick why he was in the pod, and he said he wanted something genuine. She seemed to have a wall as she spoke until finally she told him she was nervous and that he only liked her because he thought she was sexy. She admitted weight was a big insecurity for her and now had enough “gut feelings” with Nick to break up, although he said she felt like she was “his best friend and his wife”.
Then, just after breaking up with Nick, Hannah unexpectedly learns that another friend of hers, Leo, is also serious about beautician Brittany. At the beginning of the second episode (yes, all of this is just one episode), Hannah blames her instant regret and all her conflicting feelings on confusion and asks to go on another date with Nick. When they talked again, they were both better at digging into the issues. Nick admits he was hurt when she broke up, saying she let other people’s opinions of him color hers and hurt him before he could hurt her. From there, they talk about how Nick is adjusting to the future after realizing he won’t make it to the NFL, while Hannah talks about her weight history and why his bikini jokes affected her so much. After a while, they exchanged “I love yous” and giggles, and everything seemed ready to get engaged…except for some drama when Hannah tried to break up with Leo. (We go into all this in more depth in Leo and Brittany’s explanation.)
Are Hannah and Nick engaged on Love Is Blind Season 7?
After settling all the issues with Leo and Hannah, Nick and Hannah make a sweet but tense proposal and toast to the Dorcas family. But what they revealed in person was far more embarrassing. It turns out that Hannah has her own opinions about Nick’s appearance (whether it’s football talk or the Cavill comparison is unknown), and he’s not what she expected. He wasn’t “really small,” as she fretted in the confessional, but he was certainly a little shorter than her in heels. After they met, she testified that Nick’s description of himself in the pod “wasn’t truthful.”
Some background: Earlier, another actor, David, revealed to Leo in the men’s room that David and Hannah had been dating seriously and that she was even the one for him. 1, but after learning he was only 5 feet 8 inches, she “excluded him.” (She’s 5’9″.) As a tall girl, I understand Hannah’s concerns about her man’s height and feeling like she’s bigger than him. This socialization of men as superior to women as inferior is difficult to overcome. (Also, she said men are emasculated because of their height, which is true!) But it was definitely hard to see her body language toward him during the reveal, and the way he looked back at her as they left, But she didn’t look back at him.
And then there’s the now-infamous duck incident. After Nick and Hannah’s first night in Mexico goes well – the most memorable moment being when they discuss Hannah’s potential breast augmentation surgery after giving birth – Hannah becomes disgusted because Nick is riding a plastic duck. Okay, more explanation: When Nick is hanging out by the pool, he wants to ride a life-size duck toy, and when he goes alone, a random woman walks up to him and races him. This woman can be said to be very flirtatious. When Hannah called Nick back, the woman jokingly shouted: “Don’t be jealous!” Regardless, Nick smiled and raced her. Then he goes back for another round on his own. When Nick says Hannah still loves him after Duck, Hannah says, “Maybe.”
They joke about ducks, but it’s not about ducks. Remember when Hannah was nervous about marrying a naturally sexy man? Nick even suggested that she might be jealous of that random woman, but Hannah played it cool. Fast forward to where they meet another couple at a party, and the couple seems fine. They joked about talking about sex in a low-key manner on camera. But when Hannah was just talking to the woman, she admitted that the duck thing pissed her off (while also slightly exaggerating the interaction with the woman). Meanwhile, Nick told the group that he noticed Hannah listed eight to 10 red flags, including: “Too emotionally involved? Mature? Committed to it? Confidence or arrogance? Drew Rue?”
When they finally talked about the list (still during the party), they were both busy trying to make the other understand why it hurt. Hannah admitted she felt bad when the woman “talked nonsense” and he giggled, but Nick said it made “no sense”. Hannah said she understood his point of view, but she still said the moment felt disrespectful. We also don’t see her answer (if she gives one) when Nick asks her if she really thinks he’s delusional. Once they got back to their suites, they pulled the list out of the trash can and brought up the duck incident again. Still, they don’t seem to have fully addressed the issue, and they certainly haven’t addressed the list itself, as the final scene of episode six ends with Nick telling Hannah, “I’m not the only one with paranoia.”
Are Hannah and Nick still together after Love Is Blind Season 7?
It can be said with certainty love is blind Viewers (at least all of them online) weren’t sure if Taylor and Nick would make it to the altar. In the season preview, Nick tells Hannah’s parents that he wants to take care of her and marry her, but there’s an explosion at the pod team’s party. Nick chatted and bonded with fellow cast member Katie, who told him he was “such a beautiful and profound person.” He and Hannah then argue at home, and after Nick tries to ask, “Are we mature enough to-“, Hannah interjects, “Are you mature enough, Nick? Because I’ve taught you all the shit you know.” “I know, I’ve turned you from a boy into a damn man.”
So yes, the odds don’t look great. As for social media clues, Nick and Hannah do follow each other on Instagram since the Season 7 premiere. There’s no sign of a secret joint vacation, which makes sense since Nick’s Instagram is very focused on his real estate career. Additionally, behind-the-scenes photos from their respective seventh seasons still feature Nick as a boy and Hannah as a girl. We’ll have to wait for the October 23rd finale to see what exactly happens between them.
