For fashion lovers and designers alike, we are now entering an era of post-Fashion Month mourning (and hibernation). Paris Fashion Week is officially over, but if you didn’t catch up, never fear: We’re taking a look back at all of our favorite sartorial moments from Paris Fashion Week.
Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shows of the season, Alessandro Michele’s first show for Valentino featured lots of lace, polka dots, voluminous hats, ruffled collars and a distinctly vintage feel. In a word: rich. Miu Miu’s star-studded show, starring Alexa Chung, Hilary Swank, Cara Delevingne and Willem Dafoe, showcased expert layering in their signature edgy ensembles. Saint Laurent revisited its roots in shaping women’s shapes in tailored suits (plus the return of Bella Hadid!), while Balmain played with peak shoulders, sculptural silhouettes and dresses that dazzled in portrait transformations.
